For convenience, photographs are grouped in collections which usually grew out of projects which invariably led to exhibitions, and sometimes to books. More websites will be launched  to house some of these collections. For more information see collections

the photographs

Earlier images in my collections were shot on either negative or transparency film,  processed in the traditional way, and are now held on file. Most have been scanned as digital files but the integrity of the original photograph has been retained. Today, everything is digitally printed onto archival fine art paper. In my opinion, these digital prints are at least as good as anything I was able to achieve in my traditional darkroom; and they have better archival qualities.

presentation

Each print in my gallery has been photographed and printed by myself; each is signed and includes the date the photograph was taken, the date it was printed, and is presented ready for framing.

image sizes

There are three print sizes, namely;

small: 28cm x 35cm,
standard: 40cm x 50cm
large: 60cm x 75cm

Sizes may vary slightly from image to image and non standard sizes may be available on request.

limited edition (LE) photographs

Only a small percentage of images in collections are selected and digitally printed as “limited edition prints”; these in turn are identified as LE 7, LE 25, LE 50. These are the total number of LE single prints, regardless of size, that will be offered for sale.

limited edition print pricing

The table below shows the starting price for images in each limited edition. As an image sells, the price for that image will increase. Portfolios of images and even entire collections may also be exhibited; prices for these will be individually listed.

vintage photographs

Some traditionally printed photographs remain, usually as Vintage Prints which are more highly valued because of their increasing scarcity. These unique prints are individually priced.

Every collection in the gallery has a "send me an email" link. Let me know which images interests you, and I will send you details of the selected image, and a firm price.
